Racing Season is Here!!!
We meet every Wednesday and Sunday at Huber Winery at 6:00 p.m.
Hello!
Southern Indiana Prop Nuts started in the Summer of 2005 to service the Southern Indiana, Metro Louisville area. The metro Louisville area has not had a organization or racing location for a number of years, and Ted Huber of Huber Winery has graciously allowed us the use of his facility. We are a member of IMPBA, and all racers must be a member as well to run at this facility. Within the IMPBA we are members of District 14.
Being a new organization, members and manpower are always in need and new faces are always welcome at the club. Whether you are an experienced racer or a first timer, please come join us anytime. We currently have an excellent drivers stand and a john boat with trolling motor.
For the 2009 season we intend to have open runs starting around 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday evenings, and around 6:00 p.m. on Sunday Evenings.
The Sunday evening runs will have local club racing every other weekend. There will be two classes of boats run on Sunday evenings. We will run .21 sport tunnel and a .18 RTR class.
There are many options for these two classes of boats and we would be more than willing to help you get started. For the .21 sport tunnel some options include the VS1 by Aquacraft, HTB boats HTB290, and our local builder Mike Starrett's Eliminator. For the RTR class a very popular model is the Aquacraft Miss Vegas.
If you have any questions or want to be a member, please contact one of the members on the contact page and they will be happy to assist you.
Thanks for checking us out, and we look forward to seeing you at the pond.
